Ruth’s Hospitality Q2 EPS and Revenues Top Street Forecasts

Ruth’s Hospitality Group reported Q2 non-GAAP diluted earnings per common share of $0.25, up from $0.22 for the same period last year, and just beating the Capital IQ consensus forecast of $0.24. Revenues for the quarter were $100 million, up from $92.7 million in the year-ago quarter, and ahead of the analyst forecast of $99.3 million.

The company said that for full-year 2017, it expects food and beverage costs of 29% to 31% of restaurant sales; restaurant operating expenses of 47% to 49% of restaurant sales; marketing and advertising costs of 2.9% to 3.1% of total revenues; general and administrative expenses of $32 million to $34 million; and capital expenditures of $23 million to $25 million.
